The End

We don’t get out much so there isn’t a hole lot to keep up with. We pretty much do the same thing everyday, week after week.

If anyone wants to read more updates and adventures then a car donation would be greatly appreciated. Till then we will be sitting in the living room watching Dora, Diego, Wow Wow Wubbzy, reading books and making animal sounds.

A few new things:

House hunting sucks

deadlines suck

Doing no work but still wanting to collect a commission sucks

People who drink every night, act differently and can’t remember what they said to you the next day suck and that’s just gross, even if you just drink every night.

Brand new beds that are ubber uncomfortable and defective suck

Bed service guys who don’t determine the bed defective because they want to be able to sell it to someone else and make you keep it for 60 days knowing you won’t get any sleep and may miss the deadline for returning it SUCK.

Maybe I should have titled that list “things that suck”

OK here are the new things:

LJ’s new fav things to say

Clock….and if he didn’t point at them when he says it then you’d think he was running around with a dirty mouth. Sounds very close to a dirty word for a male body part.

Rock…he gets excited to see rocks, grabs them and runs or brings them home and for some odd reason throws them in the garbage.

Bug…No bug gets past this little man baby. He calls them all out. And if you don’t see them he will gladly take your finger and show you exactly where it is.

Whoa!….A fav of mine. You know he’s ok when he falls down or bumps into something when he gets up and says, Whoa!

Thinking about getting him swimming lessons because he loves the water and wants to jump in any pool he sees because he thinks he can swim already. Maybe he can I am to afraid to let go to find out though.

This one is a shocker to me especially because he can be such a picky eater…he likes black beans. warm and plain all by themselves.

Things I’m currently wishing for:

A car

Find a house before the 8k tax break deadline OR

A extension with an even bigger tax break.

For people to stop being so ignorant and thinking the new government healthcare plan is going to decide when old people die. That’s just stupid and I can’t believe 45% of people believe that. Ugh!

To get out of the hose more

For Ben’s back to get better

For Ben to be less of a scrooge…some things are fun ya know, even if they are pointless or take place around other people.

For fall to actually cool off and feel like fall and smell like fall and make fall memories.

To lose 40lbs

Did I mention get out of the house?

For LJ to have Friends that he actually sees and plays with on a regular basis.

For LJ to only pick up good habits from those friends.

Oh and to get out of the house more in a car and go places besides the yard and neighbors yards.

It’s 11:30 I can’t sleep yet so I thought I’d put down how LJ has been amazing me lately.

His love for books and listening to me or Daddy read to him he doesn’t sit so still for anything else.

Open his animal book and ask him to point to a random animal he he will show you right where it is.

Ask him what that animal says and he most likely can make the sound for you or try too. My favorite and most recent is the sound he makes for fish.

Where working on shapes so far we got star down. As for circles he calls it ball anything round is a ball even a Phillips head screw on a toy is a ball.

He likes to stand up and help put his legs in his shorts now.

When he’s hungry and sees food he points to it and says Mmmmm.

While he is eating he says Mmm, with almost every bite…Just like my friend Adina. Or Yum Yum.

The climbing…not so much amazing as it is scary sometimes. His favorite way to scare me is running full speed on the couch and/or trying to climb over the arm of the couch down. It’s kinda high people and he chooses the one by the tiled foyer.

I think he is trying to say juice. He does say: Eye, Ear, Nose, Ball, Hi, Mimi (one of his books girls name is Mimi), Whats that, ish = fish, dog, it-tee=kitty…sometimes he tells me no no when I say it to him 1st. I have heard him say a curse word repeating after Daddy got hit in the eye…hopefully Daddy can watch his potty mouth more carefully. I think cursing is ugly. I know I’m forgetting something but I guess I’m getting sleepy…..I got distracted by a TV show too.

Love when he picks up his stuffed dog and barks at it, points to a snake and hisses, bauk bauks when he sees a chicken, etc.

Time for me to go nighty night.

Spring is pretty…..if I had a better camera there would be a crazy amount of pix of birds. Lots of birds like my yard and have made it there home with nest and chicks. I don’t have a cam with lense so I can’t capture them.

As I was unbuckling LJ I noticed he got lil fishy crackers all over the back seat so I started throwing them out of the car over my shoulder… I get LJ out and a swarm of sea gulls descend upon us. They weren’t afraid at all coming very close and picking up the fishies. I wasn’t afraid of them flying  and hovering right next to me (they could bc it was winding and they just kinda floated) it was the 15 others flying over head I didn’t want to shit on us. Then I realized I had LJ’s french fried in my hand and they were coming after them….So I got away as fast as I could push that cart. As for the PJ’s all they had was short sleeve too. Anyone know where I can get 100% cotton long sleeve PJ’s? I should have stocked up in 18m size when they had them last season but I don’t think that far ahead. Except for the next time I think about throwing fish crackers and cheerios out the car.

new stuff LJ can do…..like everyday he does something new….ask him what a snake says and he will tell you ssss ssss. He says Bah for Ball. He will brush your teeth if you ask him to. Ask him what a dog does and he will tell you Row Row Row. Tell him to dance like he has ants in his pants and well you’ll see him dance like he has ants in his pants.

He has Roseola right now. It’s a rosy rash all over his body. He’s rosy all ova. It’s a common childhood virus. It’s pretty contagious so the pedi said he could have picked it up anywhere like a shopping cart or there waiting room. It starts out as a fever and apparently the fever can get very high and cause seizures but his never went to high. And the fever is the worst part after it breaks the rash shows up on the abdomen and spreads to the rest of the body but it’s not irritating. He has no idea he has a rash so that’s a good thing. There is no treatment for it. It just goes away on it’s own in a few days. The Pedi said she always sees it in the spring and has seen it in the community lately. It’s also called sixth disease. I never heard of either before this.

I can’t remember if I noted he no longer takes a passy. It’s been a while…he got a cold and couldn’t breath threw his nose so when he got better I just didn’t give it back. He did good and I’m glad I got it over with and it was as easy as it was. I feel very lucky he is so easy going…he has never given me any fuss about switching formula to milk or bottle to sippy or now no passi. I guess he isn’t insecure because he has never needed a item to feel secure…the passy was only during naps and bedtime and maybe it helped because he was alone…He didn’t even take to the passy until he was 5.5m in the hospital it helped calm him with all the testing they did…they would dip it in a sugar water solution and it calmed him.

However getting him to eat veggies that’s another story….besides broccoli,corn and carrots…but I can’t blame him I don’t like veggies either.

Had his 1yr shots he cried of course but we had him laughing min later and he never showed any signs of soreness it was like it never happened…the last shots he was fine too until I removed the band aid this time I let him remove them in the tub. He is 31inches tall and 25pounds. As for lack of veggies the Pedi suggested V8 fusion it has a full serving of veggies and fruit in 8oz and it taste like fruit not veg…LJ is loving the strawberry banana flavor…I get the lite bc it has less sugar.

His 7th tooth is coming in!

LJ will be 1 in 5days! We plan on taking him to Lowry Park Zoo if it doesn’t rain. He loves animals so I came up with the idea to have a zoo animal theme bday party too.

The other day LJ scratched at the mole on my arm and I told him it’s a mole and he scratched at it more and replied “Moe Moe” So I have a mole named Moe now.

I swear I heard him coping Savannah saying Hi today at Publix to everyone.  Another new word he is trying to say is “nice” though it comes out like “nigh” (night without the t). He is going threw a hitting stage mostly hitting Ben and I. We show him how to touch nice and he copies rubbing and saying nigh nigh. I guess it’s a natural stage…we’re not sure how he picked it up we don’t hit each other and we do not hit him.

Sorry I do not post pix on this blog. This site takes forever to upload and just annoys me. They never show up how I want them to. I’m not computer illiterate but I’m not that savy on how to get them where and what size I want them. So I been avoiding it. Plus the fact it’s hard to get any good pix bc he is such a busy body and my new phone cam pretty much sux. I have the digital but limited time on the computer each day only when LJ is asleep and house chores are done….my rules for myself, so other priorities come 1st.

I let him loose in the yard and surprisingly he didn’t try to eat any of the leaves he picked up. He just wanted to hold them as he explored. With all this walking he has been snoozing from 8pm to 10am. Also because he isn’t napping much…all he wants to do is walk around not playing with anything just walking walking walking….he’s proud of himself.
